Risha Narandas from Lighthouse Wins Distinction Award in Global Essay Competition

From over 2,100 essays from 104 countries, Risha Risha Narandas (G11) has won the Distinction Award, as well as a $750 scholarship to join any Lumiere Research Scholar Program!

The Lumiere Research Scholar Program includes:

  • 1-on-1 sessions with a PhD Mentor from a top research university like Harvard, Stanford, and Oxford
  • 1-on-1 sessions with a Writing Coach
  • 1-on-1 sessions with a Publication Strategist for publication programs
  • Program oversight from a dedicated Program Manager

And our brilliant student will walk away with:

  • A college-level research paper that helps them stand out in college admissions
  • A letter of recommendation from their mentor
  • Option to publish their work in journals, participate in competitions, and earn academic credits from UCSD
