Exclusive Aquaponics Training in Lighthouse School, Mauritius

On 26 and 27 June, we had the wonderful opportunity to host an exclusive two-day aquaponics training at Lighthouse. In collaboration with Afraponix, +30 participants from Mauritius and abroad learned about the fascinating world of aquaponics. 

From how to nurture and breed fish, plants, and microbial ecosystems; how to design and build a system; to how to run a  profitable business, the course covered it all.

While part of it took place indoors, the practical side brought the students to the greenhouse, putting the theory into practice. 

In line with our mission, this training helped promote sustainable agriculture to our students and wider community.
